I am a Space Telecommunications Engineer at the Spectrum Engineering Group (332G) of the NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. I received my PhD from Leiden Observatory (Leiden University), MSc from Kapteyn Astronomical Institute (University of Groningen) and BSc from University of Ankara.
Star Formation Lunch talks
Here are some various projects that I am involved in.
[NII] plays a significant role in star formation as it is produced only in ionized regions; in [HII] regions as well as diffuse ionized gas.
Many fundamental questions on how stars form now seem to come down to the question of how dense cores form out of the larger filamentary structures.
LOMASS is a public web archive of the reduced data of Young Stellar Objects from the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) and Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment. Both single pointings and small maps are included.
